The Nanongkhai family has had over two decades of being in the restaurant trade, owning two restaurants in California (1992-2006) before starting anew in Keller, Texas (2007). They strive to make Sea Siam the epitome of exceptional service, mouth-watering food, and an overall superb experience.
Sea Siam endeavors to create unforgettable dining experiences for those new and invested to Thai food. While the family is reluctant to publicize, they feel that a customer’s recommendation is worth much more than any advertisement. HEAD CHEF, MANAGER, OWNER
The gentleman behind all the tasty concoctions is Eddie. If you’ve been there long enough, you may be able to see the elusive grand chef. After he graduated from law school in Thailand, he moved to the U.S. in search of a better life. Never transferring his degree, he eventually met Jam and started a family as well as a successful restaurant business in Huntington Beach, California in 1992. Their Texas location was established at the start of 2007.
HOSTESS, WAITRESS, MANAGER, OWNER
Jam, the mother figure in this mom-‘n’-pop affair, is the constantly running tempest of the family. She is the ever-smiling face of Sea Siam, and she very much embodies the no-idle-hands ethic. Critics commend her, deeming her the customer service queen, with the memory of an elephant. She rarely forgets a face, name, or order.
WAITERS OR "THE KIDS"
Tanya (also known as Tofu) and Tara (Oak)—Jam and Eddie’s daughter and son—have also taken part in working at the restaurant, hoping to improve and expand the family business in the future. For now, they work a few select days and “focus on schoolwork!” instead.
